Chasing Wind, Passing Shadows
Time & Location
About The Event
This workshop is based on the book of Ecclesiastes. This is a piece of wisdom literature from around the time of King Solomon, who reigned from 970 BC. The 'Teacher' reflects on his extensive pursuit of life 'under the sun' and purports that it is a 'chasing after the wind', with people 'passing through like a shadow'.
We start with a study of key texts and explore their themes and relevance today, using these as building blocks for our movement. This is followed by a warm up, taught movement, guided improvisation, discussion and prayer. This gives us time to pause, reflect and apply the truths of God's Word in a unique and inspiring process.
Participants will work according to their own pace and ability. No previous experience is required. Please wear clothing that will enable you to move freely. We will be moving with bare feet so no special footwear is required.
